Transforming the Garden Experience – where nature, culture, and community unite
This presentation will describe Canada’s Diversity Gardens, a 35 acre development within Assiniboine Park intended to be an exploration of the human connection with plants and nature showcasing Canada’s extraordinary multicultural heritage. Visitors will discover the role plants have in shaping the life and identity of their community and their country – past, present and future. With major capital investments in garden infrastructure at the Assiniboine Park, Winnipeg Manitoba, the Assiniboine Park Conservancy is now capable of elevating its offerings to compliment other Winnipeg attractions as a united tourism / economic driver to a region not particularly known for garden tourism.
